- Besides a very vague line in the patch notes a few years back, I have seen no evidence supporting that. --Manny 08:33, 26 September 2007 (CDT)
one thing i did notice, forges seemed to heat up faster when burning a birch log at the initial warming up stage. also a birch pile seemed to generate a third as much again with charcoal. Stika 1
