Main / Skills / Masonry / Stone wall

Description

A small stone wall. Better for defensive purposes than the wooden fence, yet still weaker than tall stone wall. Small stone walls are a good way to get your masonry skill up, and are relatively easy for even a new player to build, requiring no iron or other resources to create.

Method

  1. Equip a mallet or hammer.
  2. Right click on a Tile Border.
  3. Select Fences / Build stone wall

Note: You must have at least one rock shards in your inventory.

Skill required

To calculate the maximum slope you can build on, based on your masonry skill, use the following formula (submitted by ketza):

Max slope = (3 *skill) + 10

Note: The answer is rounded down.

Skill Maximum Slope Skill Maximum Slope Skill Maximum Slope
1 13 16 22 49 31
2 14 19 23 54 32
3 15 22 24 59 33
4 16 25 25 64 34
6 17 29 26 70 35
8 18 33 27 76 36
9 19 36 28 81 37
12 20 41 29 88 38
14 21 45 30 94 39

The skill limit does not apply for low stone walls on cave entrance tiles.

Tools required

Items required

Each rock shards added adds approx. 10% of its quality value to the wall. For repairing, a 20kg rock shards will fix the walls damage by 10.

When using combined shards, the wall will only use 20kg of the total shard weight per success.

Resulting product

  • Stone wall

The wall can be improved further using rock shards.
