Based on my limited understanding of the game's mechanics, attack speed seems to be determined by two variables:  weapon skill and enchantments, which can take off a total of up to four seconds from the attack timer.  I don't know if someone has actually tested and confirmed that this third variable (body control) plays a part in weapon speed, so I have removed that statement from the page.  Feel free to correct this if it does in fact affect the speed.

Attack speed

Based on my limited understanding of the game's mechanics, attack speed seems to be determined by two variables: weapon skill and enchantments, which can take off a total of up to four seconds from the attack timer. I don't know if someone has actually tested and confirmed that this third variable (body control) plays a part in weapon speed, so I have removed that statement from the page. Feel free to correct this if it does in fact affect the speed.
