Description
Meat is an important ingredient in hot food cooking, and also good for taming and feeding meat-eating pets.
Meat is acquired by successfully butchering animals, tower guards or players. Starving animals do not give any meat.
Note: Quality of meat adds time to the taming timer.
Notes
Raw meat has a low nutritional value when eating. If placed in a lit campfire, oven or forge for a period of time, it will become cooked meat, which feeds a bit more.
They say that if you put meat in a barrel of water, it will be preserved for several days. However, it is better to cook the meat, because cooked meat can be stored in a food storage bin.
Meat dropped on the ground attracts meat-eating animals and monsters.
