* A [[pottery flask]] with 1 [[potato]] and 4 [[corn]] in it will hold additional ~0,005kg lye. Keep the lye in a [[pottery jar]] or [[waterskin]] and fill the flask from there as needed. This way precious high ql lye will last very long.
* An alternative is to have 2 [[pottery flask]]s one empty and one with 1 [[garlic]]. Filling the empty one first then transferring it to the 2nd one it leaves an almost zero quantity to the first. Depending on what seed has the smallest volume it could be even less. This method used with a garlic results in ~0,0002kg of lye. Keep the lye in a [[pottery jar]] or [[waterskin]] and fill the first flask from there as needed. This way precious high ql lye will last very long.
* Put 3 garlic and 4 barley in pottery flask then drag the 2.00 water from pottery jar to the flask to leave 1.90 water in the pottery jar.
