Used to turn hide into leather and creating [[corrosive trap]]s.
0.10kg of [[lye]] is required to turn 3kg of hide into 3kg of leather.
== Notes ==
*0.10 ash is required per 1.00 water to create 1.10 lye, excess is spilled - using a jar with 2.00 water and 0.20 ash results in 2.00 lye because the jar can't hold more.
*Any excess water is spilled - using 0.10 ash on 12.00 water still results in 1.10 lye.
*Failing to create leather uses 0.10kg of lye and none of the hide, success uses the same amount of lye and 3kg of the hide.
