Definition

PvP is an abbreviation for Player versus Player fighting, where the opponents are controlled by human players, rather than the game.

Usage in Wurm

  1. Some of Wurm's servers are defined as PvP, which means that players can attack each other without having mutual consent.
  2. The activity of attacking players as opposed to attacking creatures (PvE) on PvP servers.

Freedom Isles (Except Chaos)

Independence, Deliverance, Exodus, and Celebration.

Generally, PvP combat along with many other things that involve hostile or offensive actions are not allowed on these types of servers. However, consensual PvP is allowed through sparring and dueling.

Chaos

PvP is allowed on this Freedom server, especially against enemy alliances.

There are no repercussions on the Chaos server for killing, except making enemies. However, the global rules for "insults, harassment, griefing" still apply.

Epic servers

Elevation, Desertion, Affliction, and Serenity. Main article is Epic cluster
