A '''crude wooden fence''' is a less sophisticated version of a [[wooden fence]]. It uses the same materials. It seems to be unpassable by players directly after planning the fence with only one shaft. This might be useful for quickly fencing off a safe area(but could also just be a bug), although hostile animals can still pass the unfinished fence.
In its unfinished state, the crude wooden fence has the same model as a completed [[wooden fence]].
