Description
A golden altar, with mystical carvings and inscriptions.
Metal altars can be located within the radius of another altar of another alignment.
Making of an altar
- When creating a gold altar, where you are standing is where the altar will appear.
- CANNOT be moved after placing.
Improving it requires the standard jewelsmithing or blacksmithing tools, only exception is you dont have to have the altar glowing, as there is no way you can put it in a fire or forge.

Tip for placing
- To see where an altar will be placed when finished, drop a large anvil. Where it lands will be almost exactly where the altar will go.
- After dropping the large anvil, do not turn, move or change your mouse view or you will need to re-drop it again to check positioning.
Usage
Gold altars need to have the bless spell cast on it to set it to a specified deity.
Note that only a priest/priestess can cast spells. Stone and wooden altars do not have this requirement.
