Description
A brown algae long and slimy with air bladders clearly visible.
Kelp is a farming product gathered from kelp tiles.
Usage
Kelp can be used to raise the difficulty of a meal by 10. It can also be used to make stews with just meat or veggies.
No other known uses at this time.
Method
Kelp tiles
Medium, long and wild natural kelp tiles can be harvested to produce kelp. Medium kelp produces 1 plant, tall produces 2 plants and wild produces 3 plants. The quality of the harvest is random.
The length of the kelp can be examined:
You see a patch of kelp. The kelp is short and seem to like it here. You see a patch of kelp. The kelp is medium and seem to like it here. You see a patch of kelp. The kelp is tall and seem to like it here. You see a patch of kelp. The kelp is wild and seem to like it here.
Kelp tiles can be harvested with a Sickle, Shovel, Scythe, Butchering knife or Carving knife.
Notes
- Kelp can only be found in the wild and cannot be planted like reed.
- Kelp tiles can be removed by digging one corner of the tile. It turns to dirt.
