Description
A tall, sprawling tree which is particularly rare to come by.
Notes
- Oaks can take months to reach old age, but are often used for ornamental purposes rather than utility.
- Items made from oak take 20% less damage during use and receive a 25% bonus to resilience against bash damage.
- Charcoal piles made out of oak produce more charcoal.
- Oak trees are known to kill other trees and bushes around them due to their thick foliage blocking sunlight to the lower forest floor. This kill zone is 1 tile at mature and 2 tiles at old (see illustration below). Planted hedges will not be killed by oak trees.
