Health is a measure of how injured a player is. For every injury received, the health bar will go down a corresponding amount. A player's stamina will never go above its health. By eating food and drinking water to keep the hunger and thirst bars filled, a player will regain stamina much quicker. This also has the side effect of generating fat, which helps keep a player from starving.
