Description

An ingenious system of pockets, pouches, hooks and holes designed to keep a wide array of common tools.

A toolbelt is a container that holds 2 items, 1 additional item per 10ql and 1 additional item per rarity level up to 15 items max.

Creation

  • The QL of the hooks affects the success rate.
  • On failure, the hooks and/or the leather belt are damaged. They can be repaired though.
  • Adding the cloth only uses 0.3 kg even if the piece is bigger.

Usage

  • Equip the toolbelt and open it by clicking the toolbelt button on the quickbar.
  • You can drag tools/mats from your inventory into the toolbet. Items can be removed from the toolbelt by dragging them out and back into your inventory.
  • A container containing water can be placed inside the toolbelt for improving items.
  • If you hide the toolbelt, it can be redisplayed using the main options menu or typing "toggle toolbelt" into the console.
  • Despite being "worn" as a sort of accessory garment, toolbelts do not suffer damage as a result of falls or fighting such as does armour.

Notes

  • While a toolbelt is equipped, all items inside are considered activated for actions.
  • If you have an item activated and it is valid for the action you are doing, it will be used. If the item is not valid for the given action, the items inside your toolbelt will be checked by the system to see if there is a valid item to use.
  • If multiple items are inside your toolbelt that have the same preference level, the item with higher quality will be used.
  • Actions which work with multiple items have their own preference list for items, "Cut down" will prefer a hatchet over axes, weapons or a saw for example.
  • An icon on the left in the right-click menu indicates what item will be used for the action.
  • More details about the action and the used item is available when hovering over the action in the action queue. The action queue may be removed by right clicking the top right of the event window and choosing the hide option.
  • Toolbelts will grant their final QL-based slot at 99.5 QL rather than 100.
