Some History

I first found Wurm in mid 2003 (I thought 2004 but I was assured that certain events happened in 2003!) and have played ever since. Although I had a stint as the mayor of a town I preferred to play as a near hermit through most of alpha and beta. With the advent of Gold 1 I decided that I'd had enough of roughing it and joined Whosville. The atmosphere was good and I found Horton to be a good leader and so I stayed, all the until the cataclysm. In all that time I never once travelled over to Wild and pretty much ignored the fighting aspect of the game.

With Gold 2 we moved Whosville to the Wild server and apart from the initial fleeing from crocs and such we found our new home south of the white lights original location. There we remained and played until the introduction of the Mol-Rehan kingdom. Carrying our most precious goods we made the trek down from Gold Coast to where [[Whosville] is today. After the war Mol-Rehan between the Horde of the Summoned drastic action was required and with a combined effort from most of the kingdom the House of Mol Rehan was raised where most of Whosville relocated to.

This is where I can be found today.

Just who is Gaeron?

Well..... for the most part I have been a crafter and jack of all trades filling in for when other people are not available. For the longest time I couldn't be bothered to spend the time out hunting to gain the necessary fight skill for PvP. Indeed when the fight fix came along I had but 22 fight skill and would still run from spiders (but spiders were scarier back then.....) There were always tasks that needed doing in the town and several hours out hunting seemed like such an extravagance!

I actually came to combat through archery and found I got a lot more satisfaction going out and hunting for meat/hides with a bow than with a melee weapon. I even got to the point where I was prepared to go on hunts with bows as my only weapons though there were some panics when a croc ended up in melee range and needed killing with a shortbow.

Since then I've come to appreciate actually being able to melee and have eased somewhat into PvP where I slowly learn the subleties of the system. Even now I consider myself somewhat noobish when in PvP :/ In recent times I have been exploring the potential of priesthood and have chosen the difficult route of a Vynoran combat priest. There are lacks but it is different and because of that I've found it a lot of fun so far.

I am a total title junkie and once my toon gets close to a fresh title I become focussed on that and nothing else. Lastly I think that my skills have been talked up by various people (mentioning no names but you know who you are...) and people think my toons are way more skilled than they really are.

Other things about me
