Making Money

This article will help you to learn the basics of making money.

Wurmian Currency

= For every gold coin there are 100 silver coins.
= For every silver coin there are 100 copper coins.
= For every copper coin there are 100 iron coins.

Coins cannot be created from the metal which they are made of, only purchased via the Wurm Shoppe or from other players.

Selling Items

Money can be made either by selling items to Traders or selling items to players. Traders work on a supply and demand system, so the more you sell, the less money you get for each item. The more you buy, the more expensive it gets.

Players will buy what they need, mainly swords, tools, armour but often other things. Enchants are another good seller. Players can also buy work, meaning they hire you for a set price (usually heavy labor such as digging or mining).

Current Marketplace

This list is, by far, incomplete - please add.

These prices are the general prices I find fair on the market, however the individual sellers may set other prices; This is just a guideline made from an average of commonly acceptable prices.

= Tools - 1c to 2c per QL point.
= Weapons - 1.5c to 2c per QL point.
= Enchants - 1.2c per WOA, 1.2c per COC, 1.8c per FA, 2c per AOSP
= High Enchants (90+) - 2c per WOA, 2c per COC, 2.5c per FA, 2.5c per AOSP
= Excellent Tools (80QL+, Enchants 80+) - 8s and onwards.
= Meals (20 to 50QL) - 4c
= Meals (50QL+ or/and with Opulende) - 5,6c
= Labour (Dirt digging) (wild) - 5 to 10c per 40 dirt (varies)
= Labour (Dirt digging) (home) - 4 to 8c per 40 dirt (varies)
= Labour (Dirt digging) (home) - 4 to 8c per 40 dirt (varies)
= Labour (Mining) - 5 to 12c per 50 rock shards
= Merchant Contracts (From traders) - 8s
= Merchant Contracts (From players) - 4 to 8s
