Bro Vegas was one of the few strongholds during the Bromunistic Era. Nestled into the sickle-like [[Bay of Bros]], the natural resources insured the Port's success and growth in architecture and infrastructure. During it's golden era the area was highly populated with bromads who had travelled from [[Newtown]]. Bro Vegas remained in this so called Golden Era for some time until the implementation of The Server Cap and the eventual transition to Premium Only. Slowly afterwards the population began to dwindle until only a few remained, the community became far more peaceful, bringing about trade connections with settlements in the local area. The town survived in this state for some time, but again the population dropped further leaving only miniscule fractions of it's former population, charged with the upkeep of a once fantastic settlement. With the announcement of The Freedom Server, the final remnants of Bro Vegas packed anything of value and sailed into the Azure Mist, never to be seen again...One thing for sure is that Bro Vegas shall always remain in the hearts of those brave Bromans who toiled day and night to forge the now forgotten settlement known as Bro Vegas..

Story of Bro Vegas, City of Ancients

It is said Bro Vegas was a stronghold of the outcast during the Bromunistic Era, however no-one really knows.

Virgo Frater Urbs, or 'Bro Vegas' as it is now known was nestled deep within the protective cove of Bay of Bros, away from the stormy seas and eyes of greedy pirates. Somewhat rich in natural resources, quickly the village grew into a city much to the chagrin of the local native populous. However such wealth in raw materials quick made Bro Vegas into an important economic player in the area, eventually causing the natives to co-operate.

During The Golden Age, the Port was a bustling centre of activity where no corner was empty and every fellow helped eachother. Eventually this time of prosperity would come to an end and see a sharp drop in the population, which unfortunately in the end signalled the demise of Bro Vegas. Wise sages tell that this was not the end of the great city, and that a few brave denizens packed up their livlihoods and moved on to found a greater city now known as New BroVegas, located on the distant Freedom Isles.

Forgotten Landmarks

  • Once a Great Bronicorn stood proud at the city's centre.
  • The Unfinished Colossus, a sign of prosperity never finished.
  • The Bay of Bros, Silent Defender of The Port.
  • The crumbling remains of the once great Fort Awesome.
  • Decrepit Guard Towers plagued by natures grasp.
  • Seemingly empty rows of residences.

Former Residents

  • Brototype
  • Fabryz
  • Peterc
  • Babies
  • Beefstroganoff
  • Bostonted
  • Broadmyn
  • Brosefiroth
  • Gijogger
  • Gullgotha
  • Jager
  • Iongravirei
  • Karmelov
  • Mouthwindow
  • Mrderp
  • Radark
  • Umasterbro

Politics

The Original Bro Vegas lived by a liberal set of agreed rules in order to hasten the speed of expansion. Eventually as the town grew and the population decreased, these ideas were devolved into a more conservative variant, however this allowed trade with neighbouring settlements to be established.

Bromunism Ideals

  • Pound The Bro Fist
  • Try to help bros in need.
  • Worship The Bronicorn!

Political Influence

Bromunism was frowned up by The Bay of Swedes area, because it encouraged rapid growth and encouraged theft from nearby towns, using apparently private roads as a body for retreat. BroVegas had no ruling body, bros worked together in order to achieve goals around the town.

BroVegas was a self contained state, but who knows how New BroVegas shall evolve in the future in order to adapt to the change of environment on The Freedom Isles.

Trading

BroVegas formerly sold the following:

  • All kind of ropes but cordages
  • Sheets

End of an Era.

After a quick packup and a long sail to the Freedom Isles server, BroVegas citizens settled to New BroVegas.

Thanks

A huge "thanks" to Babies and Gijogger who left the game without giving back all public places's writs.

Irony and sarcasm above.
