Main / Game Mechanics / Examine
Examining an item or object can tell a description of the item, its quality, damage, temperature, paint colour, creator, and what it may need to be improved, or continued if unfinished.
To examine an item, right-click it, and select the "Examine" option. To examine an item on the ground or a ground tile, double-click it. Note: the mouse double-click button, if set, may not work. Also, double-clicking an item in your inventory will activate it instead of examining it. And double-clicking items in other container inventories outside your inventory has no effect at all.
