Although I appreciate the use of in cannon terms on the front page of the wiki I think that it could lead to some confusion.  In my experience, everywhere else what is labeled continents here is called servers; on the forums, in game, the name of the wiki page, and in other games.  I believe changing the name to something like Continents (Servers) will greatly increase the usability, especially for new players.

This page is only for discussing the layout and content of the Main Page. Please use the Wurmpedia:Village square for other topics relevant to the WurmPedia project. Use the Add topic tab above to begin a new Main Page discussion topic.

Reorganization of Talk Page

General WurmPedia topics can now be discussed on a separate WurmPedia project page entitled Wurmpedia:Village square (The title corresponds with the similarly named discussion thread on the Wurm forums). This will allow our wiki community to dedicate this present talk page to the continued improvement of the Main Page.

An informational notice has been added to the top of this page to support this change of practice. An infobox has also been added to the bottom of the page to allow continued access to previous discussions without crowding-out active discussions.

Previous discussions non-relevant to the Main Page have been moved to the new Wurmpedia:Village square page where they will also be properly archived.

This new arrangement follows the general practice of other wikis. Hopefully, this will encourage more participation by seasoned wikipedians in the Wurm Online community. --Thyrh (talk) 11:36, 4 June 2012 (CDT)

Continents link name changed to Continents (servers)

Although I appreciate the use of in cannon terms on the front page of the wiki I think that it could lead to some confusion. In my experience, everywhere else what is labeled continents here is called servers; on the forums, in game, the name of the wiki page, and in other games. I believe changing the name to something like Continents (Servers) will greatly increase the usability, especially for new players. -Grimbark (talk) 14:22, 27 December 2012 (CST)
