Toggling the lawful button to off allows you to ignore rules set by the settlement token for the area, permitting any actions. Keep in mind that breaking laws by this means will lower your reputation quickly, which may force any guards in the area to attack you on sight. A common use of this is removing items from within another's house if it is illegal by the settlement token.
This button cannot be toggled off on Freedom servers.
