The leftover part of a tree after it is felled. It can be destroyed with a tool such as a maul, shovel, or axe. Tree stumps will also automatically go away when the tile they occupy is terraformed, such as being packed with a shovel.
The presence of a tree stump on a tile does not prevent the tile from being terraformed, or new trees from being planted on the tile; they are only a visual decoration.
If not deliberately removed, they will decay and vanish after a couple of days.
