Description
A sturdy spear
Metal spears are made from a metal staff and a spear tip. This is the metal version of the long spear.
Weapon Stats
- Skills: Polearms -> Long spear
- Strength: 0.45 (Similar to the Two Handed Sword)
- Attack Speed: 5 seconds (4 in Aggressive Mode)
- Damage Type: Piercing
- Parry Rate: Rate uncertain, but capable of parrying.
- Wielding: Two-hander (Unable to use a shield with it)
Notes
- The spear uses the long spear subskill.
- The metal staff quality determines success chances.
- The description always mentions steel, even if the spear is made from a different metal.
- The spear's material is determined by the metal type of the spear tip.
- To fish with a spear, stand near a sufficiently deep water tile, activate the spear, right-click the water tile, and select "fish". This will bring up a long action timer in which random clicks will sometimes result in an event message that a fish is near and that the player missed it. Then, look around for the fish. By successfully placing the target symbol on the fish and clicking, the player will then spear the fish.
