Description
A corbita is a large ship with square sails and two side rudders. It has a large hold and can carry many crates or other loaded items.
Vessel details
- Requires 21.05 mind logic to command.
- Passengers: 1 captain and 6 crew.
- Maximum speed: 28 km/h in a gale.
- Hold capacity: 49 large crates. See #Loadable items and #Useful quantities for more information.
- Creature cage capacity: 5.
- Minimum passable depth: 20 dirt.
- Weight: 1400 kg. Requires 20 body strength minimum to drag.
- Size: 5 tiles by 2 tiles.
- Height: 25 dirt from water level to deck.
Notes
- The QL of the active keel section affects the creation chance.
- Ships with a quality of less than 10 cannot be commanded.
- This includes ships whose damage percentage would calculate to bring the quality below 10, such as a 12 quality ship with 17 damage.
- Repairing a ship can sometimes result in the ship retaining a quality above 10, making it commandable again.
- Ships cannot be hauled up ladders.
- The last wood piece added determines the final wood type. For example, adding a walnut peg as the final piece will complete the corbita as a walnut corbita.
Loadable items
List is a work in progress.
- Forge
- Oven
- Large crate - 49
- Small crate - 85
- Wagon
- Bulk storage bin - 5
Useful quantities
- Can fit 1 wagon with 4 creature cages and 6 large crates.
- Can fit 2 large carts with 4 creature cages and at least 18 large crates.
Non-loadable items
See Load cargo for an exhaustive list of loadable and non-loadable items by smallest vehicle type.
