Introduction
The official IRC channels are on irc.heavenlyplace.net port:6667. There are two channels:
- #wurm - For general chat
- #wurmhelp - For players seeking help
IRC Clients
- Mirc
- Xchat
- ChatZilla extension for Firefox
- Opera has IRC built-in
The Wurm client also includes a basic IRC client (as of version 2.1.10).

How to Register your IRC Nickname
In IRC, not in an actual channel, enter the following /msg nickserv REGISTER password [email protected]
How to identify yourself
In IRC, not in an actual channel, enter /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password
Or just enter the password in your IRC client.
