Food
Cooked food stays on the small blue barrel by the oven.
Raw meat
Raw meat and raw fish, filleted or not, stay on the large barrel near the oven. Only meat and fish is supposed to be on this barrel. Inside the barrel, here's is how they are put, and why:
- QL over 50: directly inside the barrel, with no other container. This keeps the good meat good for longer time.
- QL between 30 and 50: inside the "meat ql30+" bowl. This is mainly used for cooking.
- QL between 15 and 20: inside the "meat ql15+" bowl. Used to practice cooking skill (use meat with the same QL as your skill).
- QL between 1 and 15: inside the "meat ql15-" bowl. Used to feed pets and practice filleting.
- QL below or = to 1: inside the "pig food" bowl. Do whatever you want with these, including throwing away (meat and carcasses outside deed attracts wild animals).
Herbs and foraged items
It is common for herbs to have some healing use, so first check their healing power using the "What's this?" game description.
Herbs, foraged items and some butchered goods that have healing power (such as paw, tooth, bladder, eye), all go on the healing large barrel by the door. There is a bowl for each power (if there isn't, please get an empty bowl and name it). So "heal pwr#" for the healing ingredients and "herbs" for non-healing ingredients. You can use healing power 1 for cooking, but try to save the other for covers. Never use a power 4 or 5 in cooking - it's a sin and you will be cursed for that: all your actions will fail and your skill will never increase again. Or so they say.
Herbs and foraged items that have no healing power go to the cooking ingredients large barrel by the oven. They have their own container there, labeled "herbs".
Butchered goods
Check if the item has healing power. If so, read "Herbs" above. Meat is also already described above. Fur go to the Tools Shed or, if you don't have access to it, drop in the kitchen floor and ask a citizen to take it there for you.
Rags and healing covers
These also go to the healing barrel, each one on its own small barrel inside.
Farmed goods
Pumpkins, corn, potato and seeds have their own container inside the cooking ingredients large barrel by the oven.
Intermediate cooking goods
Cheese, flour, cooked meat and the like go on the cooking ingredients large barrel by the oven. Try to keep them together and not a little bit in every container inside the barrel.
