An animal with eight legs.

Weak against plate and chain armour
Weak against swords.
Can't swim.
25 fighting with at least full studded leather and 30ql weapons recommended. (Wild server - young huge spider)
Avoids deeded areas.
Spiders on the Wild server are stronger then the spiders on the Home server.
Spawns on land.
Successful butchering produces several kgs of meat
Aged spiders run as fast as a player with no load. Younger and older spiders are slower.

Spiders take extra damage from swords. Try to use them.
Using a full set of chain or plate armour
Spiders, like all other animals, become stronger and bigger as they age.
1. A young spider is weak, has a slow attack speed, and does not aim well for the head.
2. A mature spider is weak, has a medium attack speed, and will try to hit for the head.
3. Older spiders are strong, have a medium attack speed, cause a lot of damage per hit, and will aim for the head. (They also focus with more success)
