Maple trees are particularly useful trees that yield wood, similar to pine or cedar, but also offer a harvesting option in the form of maple sap. When maple trees are in season, the sap can be harvested by using a small bucket on the tree tile. Maple sap is used to make maple syrup, a factor in some advanced beverage recipes and can be used to great effect in cooking.

Arrow shafts constructed from maple wood are known to be a little bit more accurate and deal slightly more damage, but are mildly more difficult to improve than cedar wood shafts.
