A source crystal can also be crushed with a hammer into source salt, which provides 10 karma when eaten. The source crystal is described as a pink crystal in event, but is named source crystal in the inventory.
Note : There was a bug that allowed the casting of Vessel on these crystals as though they were gems. This had now been corrected, and can no longer be done.
