Need to make it more obvious which terminology to use. "First floor" is ambiguous- in the US this means the ground floor, whereas in Europe this means the floor above ground.
- This isn't the only thing we have to consider - when editing the wiki I've been using STOREY as this is the British spelling, where as the US use STORY. Because the master wiki entry is STORY we should stick with that. I guess I'll have to try to proof read my updates to make sure I don't add the E... pains me to do that though! :-) --Marni (talk) 07:25, 3 January 2013 (CST)
Need to clarify whether the roof is included as a floor. It does have a skill requirement, although it could differ from the skill requirement for openings/floors above.
- I think we should exclude the roof from the current table, and perhaps figure that out in a separate table? --Tarec (talk) 12:43, 3 January 2013 (CST)
With 24-26 carp I can build 4 floors (including the ground), but cannot add a roof on top.
Someone else has reported that with 77 carp they can build 9 floors (including the ground), but cannot add a roof on top.
I do not know if the other values in the table include the roof.
- I added the ones for 60 and 40, neither which includes the roof. It means you can build the floor and the walls on that level :) --Tarec (talk) 12:43, 3 January 2013 (CST)
"62-77" is somewhat confusing. From a casual reading it appears to mean that 9 floors are possible with 62 skill, but it actually means that the skill boundary lies somewhere between 62 and 77 so it is not possible with 62 (if this is not the case, please move the 62 value where it belongs). I cannot think of a better way to express this though.
- Yeah, sorry. 62 is my current skill, and I wanted to add that I can not build anything on floor 9. Should we move the uncertain values to this talk page instead? --Tarec (talk) 12:43, 3 January 2013 (CST)

Ok. To summarise:

- For consistency, use the US spelling of "story", instead of the (IMO correct) "storey". Marni I feel your pain.
- When counting floors, do not include the roof. "3 floors" means the ability to build the floor and walls for 3 floors, but extra skill is required to put a roof on top of that.
- Any uncertain values should be added to the talk page instead of the main table.
