Description
A clay flask hardened by fire.
Pottery flask is the finished product of a clay flask that has been heated up in a fire. It can be used as a small portable container for items and liquids like water, dye, lye or tannin. Pottery flasks are also needed when creating a corrosive trap.
Method
- Put the clay flask in a campfire, stone oven or forge (hottest)
- Wait until the grey clay flask turns into a reddish pottery flask. It can take quite a few minutes.
Result
- Pottery flask 0.10 kg
- Holds up to 0.25 kg of liquid.
A hardened pottery flask can no longer be improved, nor repaired.
Tips
- Four flaskfuls can be used to measure exactly 1 kg of liquid.
