Description

A heavy jacket made from metal chain.

Chain armour for your torso, so you won't get injured there as often. Chain armour generally provides a middle ground base defense with moderate penalties to walking and attack speed.

Notes

• Chain armour offers a defense bonus vs. stabbing damage, while the equipment itself receives extra damage from stabbing.
• With a 50 QL large anvil you need at least 19.75 chain armour smithing, or 31 QL large anvil and 23 chain armour smithing to get an option to create a Chain jacket. This is because you must have at least 6% chance of making something in order for it to appear in the list. The chance depends on the anvil, metal, and your skill.
• This appears to be an item only available for premium accounts to create. With a chain armor smithing of 19.80 and an 80 QL large anvil, the option to craft did not appear in the menu. Upon immediately upgrading to a premium account, the option appeared with the minimum 6% chance to create.
