Description
A large, fast, eight legged creature.
- Weak against leather.
- 70dmg hits.
- Weak against swords.
- Can't swim.
- 30-40 fighting with full Leather and Steel Full Helm recommended.
- Avoids deeded areas.
- Fast, a wee bit slower than a person who isn't wearing armour on level grass.
- When not carrying much, the best way to outrun a spider is on a cobblestone road
- SPECULATION: Aged spiders are slower than other spiders, I was able to completely outrun one on grass
- SPECULATION: Adolescent spiders are the easiest to kill.
- SPECULATION: Spiders will regularly aim for either your eyes (or the least-armored part of your body - unverified). It is suggested you equip a Steel Great Helm if you plan on fighting spiders.
Fighting Tips
It's best to run from a spider the moment you see it moving towards you. If you have 30+ fighting and full leather, full stamina, and long swords, you stand a chance of killing it. Spiders can kill single tower guards and can usually defeat 2 light deed guards if only facing 2.
