Description

Grain is a food plant.

Notes

  • From planting to harvest and consumption, the path of grain from field to table often looks like this:

First, the grain must be planted on a dirt tile. As it grows, it is then tended to with a rake. At its peak, it is then harvested with a scythe. From here, it can be ground into flour with a grindstone to make bread and other edibles.

  • Grain seeds can also be used to tame certain animals.
  • Grain seeds decay slower in a player's inventory than most other seeds.

The Grains of Wurm

(From this list, note that corn, although in real-life, is a grain by definition, is not treated as such in Wurm. For instance, you cannot make bread from it, and it does not need to be harvested with a scythe.)
