Description
A long pole with a string and a hook made of wood and a small stone as a sink.
A fishing rod is a tool used for fishing.
Notes
- In creating, the quality of the fishing line determines the success rate, and the shaft determines initial quality of the pole created. Upon a failed creation attempt, both the fishing line (regular) and shaft are lost.
- Willow wood is the best, most resilient wood type for fishing rods.
- Wind of Ages enchantments on fishing rods do nothing to improve the speed of fishing.
- Fishing lines can break, and keeping spare fishing lines is suggested.
- Rare fishing rods (and rare fine fishing rods) are observed to break less, take less damage, and have slightly better odds at catching rare fish.
- In general, the heavier the fish being caught, the more damage one will notice being imparted to the rod with use.
