Gold and Silver Altars need to have the [[Bless]] spell cast on it to set it to a specified diety. Note that only a [[Priest/Priestess]] can cast spells. Stone and Wooden altars do not have this requirement.

Altars are primarily used to pray at, to gain Faith and Favor.

Domains can overlap, but only the strongest domain can effect you. When you are in the domain of your God and have at least 10 faith, you'll get certain bonuses, including a Fighting bonus.
