Blacksmithing
Blacksmithing is the skill that makes many tools and other metal items, using a forge.
Tools Used
- Metal lumps, usually iron lump (Creation material) (QL determines max quality achievable)
- Hammer
- Mallet (Only for improving blacksmithing products that improve like carpentry items, e.g. dredges)
- Small anvil (Creation tool)
- Large anvil (Creation tool)
- Water
- Whetstone
- Pelt
Notes
- Always use a forge, as other fire types won't stay hot enough.
- The better the quality of your tools, the more chance you have to succeed at improving (imping) your items. If your tool is significantly lower quality than the tool you are imping, your chance to improve the item is very slim.
- Needles are a great way to raise your blacksmithing skill without using too much metal.
