Item & Weight Limits
Items
You can only carry 100 items in your inventory at one time. This is the same for containers and piles of items.
Weight
When you first begin, you can only carry 135kg, but you will not be able to move very fast. To know how much you can carry, do this simple math. Body Strength x 6 + 15 = amount you can carry.
Containers
Using a container, Like a Backpack or Satchel in your inventory gives you the ability to carry more than 100 items at once.
Transferring Items
To transfer items to and from your inventory you have the following options:
Take
This is the only way to pick up an item from the ground (excluding piles), it may also be used to pick up items from containers.
Right click on the item and select Take.
Trade
This is how you transfer items from your inventory to another persons inventory (this includes traders and merchants, which are types of NPCs). Right click on the person and select Trade. See Trading for further details.
Drop
This is the only way to put an item on the ground (excluding piles). Right click on the item and select Drop.
Drag & Drop
This is the fastest way to transfer items from your inventory to a container as you do not have to wait for the 'right click menu' to populate.
Left click and hold on the item, drag it the location you wish to put the item and release the mouse button.
