An item applied to a wound to aid in healing.

Any item made from cloth, some examples:

Equip the cotton item, right click on wound, and click on First Aid>>Bandage.

Bandaged or damage reduced on a wound.

A bandaged wound means you can't put another bandage on it unless you hurt yourself in the same spot again.

A bandage has no effect on the bleeding/healing speed, but instead instantly lowers the damage of the wound once it is applied. If you continue to gain damage, seek a healing cover.

A larger wound needs more cotton to be healed. For every 15 damage, you'll need 0.1 kg of cotton.
