Main / Bestiary / Huge spider

Description

An animal with eight legs.

  • Weak against plate and chain armour
  • Weak against swords.
  • Can't swim.
  • 25 fighting with at least full studded leather and 30ql weapons recommended. (Wild server - young huge spider)
  • Avoids deeded areas.
  • Spiders on the Wild server are stronger then the spiders on the Home server.
  • Spawns on land.
  • Successful butchering produces several kgs of meat
  • Aged spiders run as fast as a player with no load. Younger and older spiders are slower.

Fighting Tips

  1. Spiders take extra damage from swords. Try to use them.
  2. Using a full set of chain or plate armour
  3. Spiders, like all other animals, become stronger and bigger as they age.
    1. A young spider is weak, and does not aim well for the head.
    2. A mature spider is stronger, and will try to hit for the head.
    3. Older spiders are strong, cause a lot of damage per hit, and will aim for the head. (They also focus with more success)
