If you happen to die in the game, a little window will pop up asking you where you would like to respawn. How many places you can respawn at depends on if you are in a village (or a homestead) and how many alliances that village has.
Regular players have a infinite amount of respawns. However Champions of a God are limited to 3 lives total.
