Maple tree
Maple trees are particularly useful trees - they yield wood (similar to pine or cedar) but also offer a harvesting option in the form of Maple sap. When maple trees are in season, you can harvest the sap by using a small bucket on the tree tile. Maple sap is used to make maple syrup, a factor in some advanced beverage recipes and can be used to great effect in cooking.
Arrow shafts constructed from maplewood are known to be a little bit more accurate and deal slightly more damage, but are mildly more difficult to improve than cedarwood shafts.
