Nutrition is a measure of how healthy you are; or how much nutrition is in your body. Not to be mistaken for health or food. Your current nutrition level can be seen by hovering over the thirst/hunger bar. It is also reflected by the color of the hunger bar.
Note: this change was added on 8th May 2009 and there is still a lot to learn about this feature. Please help by contributing any findings.

Nutritive food
Any food has a nutrient value, eating it will make your body's nutrition level go towards the food's nutrient value. Raw vegetables, cheese, and raw meat have the lowest nutrient values.
Meals will slowly raise your nutrition level up to 100%, the higher the QL, the faster you get there. Meals decay fairly fast and are best eaten while still warm.
