  3. Open submenu "Create > Miscellaneous"

Description

A piece of sharp flint and a steel handle, which will produce sparks when struck against each other. You can light campfires, stone ovens, stone forges, lanterns, lamps, candles, and charcoal piles with it.

To light something up, activate the steel and flint, right-click the item and select Light.

To snuff something, right-click it, and select Snuff. Heavily fueled campfires, forges, and ovens that will still burn for a long time, and charcoal piles can not be snuffed.

Notes

  • The quality of the flint affects success chance when creating.
  • The quality of the steel lump affects the quality of the finished steel and flint.
  • This item is included in the newbie tool pack at QL50 and the newbie one does not drop to your corpse on death.
  • Beware when using large lumps of steel to make this item, creating it seems to use the entire lump regardless of whether it's over 0.30 or not.
