Anyone know what the max quality of gem you will receive for praying is? I was under the impression you would only get under 10ql, but recently I was given a 27ql gem from praying. [[User:Polan|Polan]] 18:11, 13 May 2010 (UTC)Polan

Ah okay now I see the issue here. I had to test some to understand what was going on.
Yes, the higher faith you have, the longer it takes to reach maximum favor.
The top points of favor cost more and more time to regain.
So at 70 faith, if you want to stay on 70 favor all the time you will spend a lot of time praying after every small spell you cast.
You will however always regain the lower favor points faster the higher faith you have. The :better you are at praying, and the better the quality level of the altar will always increase :the speed as well.
