*Live stats Tracker now fully working, running it launches the game, it idles while listening for a skills dump, parses it, generates the image, uploads it to where ever I specify, and idles again.  It also listens for prcoess ID's, so as soon as I quit Wurm, it self terminates.  Is there any practical use for this... probably not, is it neat... I tend to think so.

Information

I stumbled upon this game by mere accidence while searching for a new mmo to try. I played Final Fantasy XI Online for 7 years and with the changes that were made in it's level caps, feeling that the game was now very easy and unbalanced, I quit. I played MineCraft for a few months but after feeling bored as the game is geared to 12 year old kids I quit. Minecraft was fun, but after you build something, then what do you do? The game was just to easy and had no direction.

So here I am, in Wurm, working towards some personal goals in the game. I want to create a nice ship and settle in some far away land, untamed by man, and riddled with mystery. This goal is a very long time away; but chipping at it each day is key and I will get there!

I'm a friendly player towards others as long as their intentions towards me are likewise. I do what I please within the law; taking only items from abandoned areas, helping people when I can, etc. If you see me and need help feel free to ask.

I live uphill from the landing so anyone new or friendly is welcome to stop by and see me!

Projects

I'm living right beside the market square and uphill from the Landing. I'd like to bring some life back to the area by rebuilding the Inn once it finally finishes decaying. I never see any houses with beds, anywhere, so it is my hope this will be a wanted commodity. With an Inn and a steady income of food, others starting the game may settle here again and contribute!

  • Implemented a very primitive stat tracker for my page. It updates an image with stats each time I 'dump skills', stats shown able to be customized via config file.
