They even allowed him to stumble upon his corpse every time save one - where he fell into a steep-sided mining pit which had previously captured a young [[lava fiend]].

The location was just off the southern perimeter boundary of [[Undefined settlement|Esert]] at the eastern edge of the '''Calhadras''' range. Existing rock and iron mines were close by, and water was not far. Thyrh chose this to be his first homesite.
