Multi-story structures can only be built on flat tiles.

Skill needed

Players with 21 Carpentry can make a 2nd floor on top of a building.

More skill is required per level. Only the 1st floor planning needs 1 skill per wall and 1 skill per tile.

At 90 Carpentry you can plan 10 floors. At 99 Carpentry you can plan 15 floors.

I just want to add a roof

1. Plan and Completely build the ground floor.

2. Then use a mallet to plan the ground floor.

2.1 Use mallet on tile below and plan floor below.

3. Then Plan roof above.

3.1 Use mallet on tile below and plan roof above.

4. Build them.

How to make another floor

1. Plan and Completely build the ground floor.

2. Then use a mallet to plan the ground floor.

2.1 Use mallet on tile below and plan floor below

3. Then Plan floor/roof above.

3.1 Use mallet on tile below and plan floor above
3.2 Plan a tile with an opening above to make a ladder climbing spot to climb up to upper floors.

4. Build them.

5. Use ladder to get up to upper floor.

6. For next floors build walls where needed and then plan roof/floor above.

Notes:

There must be at least 1 PLANNED wall below a tile to plan an floor above.

You can build fence walls or parapets on upper floors but can`t then build a floor above them.

You can Drag Carts up ladders to get them to upper floor.

You can fall from upper floors if there is no wall/fence of roof to stop you. (Please be careful as people have died in 1 fall from 4th floor drops)
