Description
These huge sharks were apparently not just a rumour. How horrendous!
A Shark is a very powerful, large, aggressive fish that is found in the ocean. They can knock players out of row boats and sailboats, and drag them further and further away from said location. This can be very dangerous if their prey is on low stamina as they might not be able to swim back to the boat. Some players have announced themselves killed instantly after having been taken from their vessel. They will bash all kinds of ships, including Cogs, and will damage them very quickly.
- The strongest Creature next to uniques.
- Can throw prey away from its vessel which "teleports" players, causing them to "reload the world around them after they're bought to their new location".
Notes
- Sharks are very powerful swimmers and can easily catch up to players in rowboats and alike. For adventuring out into the ocean its extremely advised you sail in a Cog, or better.
- Sharks only seem to appear whenever a new server is opened, and do not spawn randomly.
- Note that there are three types of sharks. These (creatures), the ones you catch through fishing, and the server border sharks (which occur when you attempt to cross the border where there is no other server on the other side, resulting in instant death).
