Basic Carpentry

Shaft

1. Equip the carving knife.
2. Rightclick on a log in your inventory and select Create > Weapons > Shaft.
   Each shaft require 2 weight-units of a log.

Plank

1. Equip the iron saw.
2. Rightclick a log in your inventory and select Create > Weapons > Plank.
   Each plank requires 4 weight-units of a log.

Mallet

1. Get a log by picking one up.
2. Make shafts.
3. Equip the carving knife, rightclick a shaft in your inventory and select Create > Misc > Mallet Head.
4. Equip the mallet head and rightclick a shaft, and select Create > Tools > Mallet.
   Keep trying until you construct a finished mallet!
