A tall tree with a thick trunk, the leaves don't hang low.
Very old oak trees yield more wood than most trees.
Oak trees are slow growing.
Oak trees will also kill trees around it due to it's thick foliage blocking the sunlight. If your planting an Oak, you need to leave 1 tile of grass between it and other trees.
Oak wood is most useful for creating durable, wooden tools like mallets.
Oak is also a rare type of tree and is usually hard to come by.
