unlimited kg?, so this beast can hold anything??

It is still limited to 100 items. You can extend it by using containers, e.g. 100 rafts would give quite some space.

Is it a safe assumption that it carries 9 people? (see cog and caravel)

Has anyone ever tested:

How many people can fit on it?
Max speed with gale and full crew?
